A couple of years back I needed to replace my windows and being the technologically dependant person that I am, I decided to surf the internet to find a replacement window company. I used a search engine to find one online using one of those “find it all sites”.

I emailed them and requested for a quotation. I didn’t know then that it was necessary to have them come over and do in-home consultation. They took roughly four days to reply and requested that I provide some details relating to my home. I should have sensed the signs right here but being naïve I sent the details.

After a couple of days they sent me a quotation and I was thrilled. I was happy that this internet thing really works. I just had a few queries with the quote, nothing terrible just routine questions. I looked up their number on the quote and gave them a call.

Here is is when the real problems started. They kept refering me to one person after another until I got fed up. When I finally talked to someone they told me the quote was a standard one – they would have to come my place for an actual one.

They didn’t arrive on the promised date and when I rang them up they were not apologetic at all. They made excuses about how busy they were and what time of the year it was and so on.

This was when I realized that I was not getting anywhere with these guys and I cancelled the deal.
