so i saw the upside tomato planter thingy on tv and was wondering if anyone has personal experience with it (im not sure if there are several versions, but this one had its own infommercial). ive been interested in growing my own produce, but the problem is that i live in an apartment with no balcony, so my options are limited. i was wondering if its too messy to keep inside the kitchen, and if it has attracted bugs for anyone. thanks in advance

being that the hole for the plant is in the bottom you do get a lil mess from time to time just from watering. i had a few on my porch this year and last, its almost as good as planting them in the ground. its not any better tho. mine didn’t do GREAT cause the key to tomatoes is direct sunlight. full sun all day. if you have a window in the right location id imagine they would produce inside. ive grown cherry tomatoes inside. id give it a shot. just don’t over water. also… ive seen the infomercial. its a lil pricey for what it is… theres several distributors of virtually the same thing. i happened across my last ones in a LTD catalog. they prob have a website. good luck. happy gardening
