I guess the glass storm windows are expensive so I read on here that people use plastic wrap to wrap the screen. Wouldn’t the screen edges be to thick to fit back in ? And or wouldn’t the plastic along the border just rip when placing the screen back in ? Is it just trial and error or is there a method ? I understand how to apply the 3M Window Kit , but wouldnt “wrapping” the screen help too ? I read it in some answers on here that people wrap the screen with plastic wrap and they say it works to keep the cold out. Is the 3M Window Kit enough ?

It looks like you have the same EXACT window that I have. It’s a double pane window & you should not have to wrap the screen in plastic. If you must, it’s could be taped to the screen edging with FROST KING plastic tape. It’s like packing tape but made for sealing around windows and is made removable, You can get that at places like Home Depot.
