Where the drill bit should go in, the drill will have either a pull or twist “chuck” the thing that grips the drill bit. First try grasping the drill around the top, and pull it back toward your body. If that doesn’t open the chuck to insert a bit, twist the chuck to the left. One of these methods should open the drill for the new bit. To tighten the chuck (VERY IMPORTANT) do the opposite, either push the chuck forward to lock, or twist it to the right. Please be sure the drill is unplugged!
